Novel and graphic novel
There are some thoughts and aches that our hearts hold and can never speak aloud, not to anyone. We secure them like poisoned treasure, and stash them away in secret, sharing with no one, quietly getting heavier with each passing day and trembling step.
I believe in the healing power of storytelling. The themes within this novel are not easily digestible, they are draining, revealing, raw. The purpose of this novel is to push through this discomfort, break through our isolating world where we are lost in these metaphorical landscapes. You will find connection in these characters because their moments are your moments. Your pain, your self-destruction, like theirs, can be weaponized into mythical beauty, yearning passion, and pure reconstruction.
Maybe you connect with the complex sorrows of Luciano, an eccentric romantic desperately trying to better the world, while he slowly loses his family and himself in the obsessive process. Or maybe in the rebellious spirit of Sasha, who goes against the traditional sense, working as a corporate designer who goes rogue because art has meaning, it should hurt, it should cry, it should let you finally breathe or take your breath away, not just market products to a target audience.
“Theory of Constraints: The Uncertainty Principle” is currently in development. All artwork, writing, concepts, visual assets and audio are created solely by Sarah Ottobre (alias, Sasha Falconi). To support this project, please consider donating or contact me for more information.

Interview / Promotion for Series
Watch this interview where I discuss my massive novel and comic book project, Theory of Constraints: The Uncertainty Principle. It’s a series in the works that blends horror, rebellion, and the ache and panic of identity crisis into a world of monsters and painfully relatable secrets we all keep.
The purpose of this novel is to push through discomfort and break free from our isolating world, where we are lost in metaphorical landscapes—and to use our pain as a weapon.
